Soundtrack to a Mistake

The other night I had to pull an all-nighter to work on a paper I had been putting off, the reasons for which my lawyer advises I not disclose.

(*cough*fightingcrime*cough*)

Still, that's never a good idea--believe you me. Oh, I used to think I could pull it off, that the added intensity of being under the unsparing clock helped more than hindered my creative flow. Of course, after reviewing the tragic tale of my grade point average, I've had to accept that maybe waiting until the last few possible hours before attempting a serious academic paper isn't the best plan available to me.

Anyway, before I even tried to start typing, I decided to make a random playlist of songs that might help my brain absorb information it hadn't yet learned. And, because I am still suffering the physical effects of my prolonged coffee consumption an entire day later, I thought I'd post said playlist and the myspace pages to boot. Just in case you need some help writing a paper on a topic you know nothing about, too.

You know, I think that coffee consumption really did affect me, because at the time it didn't seem like much work at all.

But now, after a nights sleep, I can't believe I actually spent time doing that. Huh.

(Although, granted, mypsace links aren't hard to figure out/guess...)

Gr. So, the links don't go to that specific song. Tear.

Actually, my iPod broke in September.

But, I sold it on eBay for $130! Yeah. My broken iPod. People are awesome.

If I get something new before Christmas (unlikely but hey, you never know), I'll try to share the love (although it won't be an iPod -- I'm currently anti-iPod).

And no, not all the songs are on their MySpace pages -- but some/most are. Because really, I didn't have *that* much time on my hands.

Yeah, it's been painful. I tend to cry a lot these days.

But I bought a memory card for my phone, so worse comes to worst I use it. But it sucks for that.

But yes, I still have all my music on my computer. I'm going to buy a Microsoft Zune instead, as soon as I can afford it. So I've been using the Zune program instead of iTunes too, and I love it. Unfortunately it doesn't work with Mac's. But if I have it when I come home, we'll figure out some way to make it happen.
